you're actually a sentient bag of pop rocks
A lesbian bag of pop rocks.
I just had to type that sentence to see it for myself.
I’m sure I could find a drawing of that on deviantArt.

aintasuperhero asked:
you're actually a woman and you and larke are in a committed lesbian relationship
Half true. I have read so much lesbian fiction and drawn so many lesbians that the Lesbian Gods descended and granted me a new life as one. It was a magical event which catered hundreds. There was apple pie and banana bread with dark chocolate chips. Also we played Mario Party!

You don't actually play or even like video games, you just read up on wikipedia before answering any questions or joining conversations about them in an attempt to gain popularity. You've carried on the charade for so long even people who think themselves your closest and oldest friends are fooled into thinking you're some sort of video game guru.
All true. I’ve even got false memories of playing video games. I’m so good I’ve even convinced myself! The truth is, I thought the Playstation 3 controller was a breast massager when I was first handed it. The looks I got when I rubbed it on my chest in the middle of the electronics store were half repulsed, a quarter frightened, and about two percent slightly turned on.

you liked delgo
I like the creator’s spirit and unconquerable feeling of hope he must have had right up until the movie had its grand opening playing on a guy’s laptop screen with tiny speakers.

renee montoya (you had to know she was coming)
i wondered what took so long
- Why I like them - she’s a BAMF. she’s badass, a bit crude, generally knows when to cut the sass in favor of being a professional, isn’t afraid of bouncing between slick detective work and brute force, and is generally just damn versatile, enough to work both as a plain ol’ cop and as a freakin’ superhero.
- Why I don’t - If it weren’t for Dini and Rucka, she would have fit right in as one big token. She’s like a number of “adversity points” all rolled up into one. Meaning, if DC had created her like they created Batwoman initially, she’d barely be serviceable. Thankfully, Rucka was attached VERY early (pretty much as early as possible) and showed people how it was done.
- Favorite episode/scene - I think first meeting Kate, prior to becoming the Question. Either that, or pretty much any moment between her and Huntress. Literally any. It’s all good.
- Favorite line - Too many to list.
- Favorite outfit - The short hair, fedora, and tanktop combo she frequently sported as The Question, with or without the mask. She couldn’t be more of an HBIC in those moments.
- OTP - Ehhhhhh… As much as I wanna say her and Kate, I gotta go with her and Huntress.
- Non-romantic OTP - Her and Charlie Sage, or her and Huntress. Or Kate. Look, just her anywhere and I’m happy.
- Headcanon - She involuntarily flexes when Wonder Woman is around.
- Unpopular opinion - I’m bad at these because I don’t really feel I have unpopular opinions. I’d just love for HBO to put on a Gotham Central series, with Rucka and Dini as executive producers, and film it straight up as a cop procedural with superheroes and supervillains. I think DC is missing an opportunity with not trying out more things in a miniseries or HBO series format, and some of the Batman stuff (Batwoman and Gotham Central, in particular) would be a great fit.
- A wish for them - To be in New 52 somewhere relevant instead of a single background image.
- An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen for them - For most of the DC writers to never write for her.
- 5 words to best describe them - HBIC HERE, OUTTA THE WAY
- My nickname for them - Slick

Samus!
it’s ladies night apparently
- Why I like them - a strong independent woman THAT DON’T NEED NO MAN — actually, there are tons of reasons to like her, including her self-reliance and her unwillingness to bend or break, if you don’t include Other M
- Why I don’t - Other M, heretofore referred to as “Sakurai and Team Ninja Want A Waifu”
- Favorite episode/scene - She’s a silent character, so it’s kind of hard to pick. I think my favorite parts are from Fusion, oddly enough, where she’s slowly coming to terms with the Adam AI.
- Favorite line - None, she’s not really a “speaking” character save for Super Metroid and Fusion. I’d love to do a comic about Samus with someone who can make some good lines for her, though!
- Favorite outfit - siiiiigh uh okay I legit love the Fusion suit when it’s unaltered
- OTP - Samus x Ship
- Non-romantic OTP - Samus x Adam, they bros
- Headcanon - When not working (which is rare), Samus likes to collect tea. She has a house on some planet somewhere with a balcony that meets the sunrise, and she just chills there whenever she has downtime. She also likes to make crude jokes with some of her friends from the military.
- Unpopular opinion - I just want her with short hair, like a military cut. And I want her to have more of a speaking role in her games. And, as much as I LOVE the Prime series, I’d like to see more expansions on the Super Metroid set-up, building on the 2D elements. I think the gameplay for the Team Ninja fanfic game actually has some neat ideas and concepts that could see some great integration in a new title.
- A wish for them - That she gets her own movie or comic book and it is awesome.
- An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen for them - Another game under Sakurai
- 5 words to best describe them - solo, soldier, badass, explosions, gun-for-an-arm
- My nickname for them - deathtank the merciless

character: Elastic man
I get really confused by that name because I think of both Plastic Man and Elongated Man but Plastic wins by default sooo
- Why I like them - is there a reason NOT to like Plastic Man, I mean really
- Why I don’t - I guess he’s not in enough stuff
- Favorite episode/scene - Everything
- Favorite line - I don’t know any real quotes from him. I’m in it for the slapstick.
- Favorite outfit - Has he ever worn anything apart from his classic outfit?
- OTP - Plastic Man x Himself
- Non-romantic OTP - see above
- Headcanon - He secretly loathes Stretch Armstrong, and wonders how such a cheap rip-off got to be more popular than him at ANY point in time.
- Unpopular opinion - I just wanna see his eyes. Just once.
- A wish for them - To have a best-selling solo book.
- An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen for them - Die.
- 5 words to best describe them - stretchy raunchy awful pun-filled ridiculous
- My nickname for them - Stretch Armstrong (haHA)

aintasuperhero asked:
the joy/boss
jebus, start me with a hard one
okay here goes i think
- Why I like them - Probably one of the best female characters in a video game, if you ask me. Also one of the few I’ve seen who can have the zipper of her jumpsuit almost all the way down without it being deemed as sexualized, which is REALLY IMPRESSIVE, all told. Her history’s about as wacky and overwrought as nearly everything else in the MGS series, but much of her life was militaristic tragedy, thrown from one project to the next, with every single bit of suffering she went through needing to be choked down so she could move on to the next. I don’t know. I really love that character so much.
- Why I don’t - IMPOSSIBLE. Can’t answer this reasonably. I think it was an INTERESTING decision to have her turn out the way she did in Peace Walker, where her legacy was continued in a very strange way, and I know it was a point of contention for a lot of fans in terms of plot (in a series which basically builds itself on melodramatic, insane plot).
- Favorite episode/scene - The recordings on Peace Walker, describing her life story. It’s delivered way too well, and manages to have an insane amount of tear-inducing emotion even with the ridiculousness of the backstory. Probably one of the most well-delivered monologues I’ve heard in a very long time in a game.
- Favorite line - “In the 21st century everyone will be able to see that we are all just inhabitants of a little celestial body called Earth. A world without communism and capitalism… that is the world I wanted to see. But reality continued to betray me.”
- Favorite outfit - The one with the bandanna. Basically her first outfit in MGS3.
- OTP - The Joy and Sorrow. I mean, come on, there’s no other one.
- Non-romantic OTP - Joy and Snake. Their relationship is really interesting, because it never really comes to romance; it’s mentorship, cameraderie, and respect.
- Headcanon - She totally knew Strangelove was into her. If it weren’t for Sorrow, she’d probably indulge.
- Unpopular opinion - The pre-MGS1 stuff revolving around The Joy is probably the only reason why I stuck with MGS as long as I have. The plot revolving around her in such an integral way was a fantastic direction for the overall story to go, and one of the few examples of a woman dying for the development of the story in a way that doesn’t come off as senseless fridging.
- A wish for them - I just wanted to see one personal, happy moment from them, just once in the series.
- An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen for them - For the story to not push her history and character too hard to the point of going even more ridiculous than the MGS line has already gotten.
- 5 words to best describe them - Tragic, loyal, patriotic, sorrowful (ironically enough), ironclad.
- My nickname for them - Joy. Can’t really think of anything else to call her as a nickname.
