A page’s worth of sketches tryin’ out some new methods of drawing. I’m diggin’ it.
Basically starting with one-line gestures for individual shapes and staying zoomed out and continuing to focus on shapes when making a clean sketch
Cuts my time in half considerably AND reduces a bit of risk of poor posing since silky flowy shapes are way more fun when they’re made easy

Just messin’ around in Photoshop — so, amateurish color job that I’m starting to figure out how to utilize for next thing.
five in the morning is the best time to do art for characters that maybe three people care about

used to be really long but now it’s shoulder length and wavy as fuq so
i’unno i’ll change it tomorrow to some liberty spikes or something
also teeeeechnically this winds up as a polyamorous relationship??? i haven’t quite figured it out yet

Break time!
Raleigh’s point of view’s emphasis on detail is gonna break me sooner rather than later, but it suits her personality. I needed an excuse to draw more backgrounds anyway.
Also, you can see my thumbnails and where I started scooting stuff around thanks to the lower sketches. Just sorta dived into the first two pages, and am now starting to position everything before doing rough sketches for the others.

when this is done, it’ll be a great reaction image which i plan on using with alarming frequency
Working on a ten-pager, and realized Raleigh’s had the same hair for most of her life.
So I tried out what she’d look like with it short.
Not terrible, I think.
Not sure how I feel about coloring my lines yet.
